Meet the directors

Axlan was founded by three British professionals from diverse backgrounds, bringing an enviable mixture of business, language and technology experience to the organisation.

Andrew Inman

After more than twenty years business and technical consulting experience in the IT industry, Andy's continued motivation is the successful application of technology to improve business processes. His company was one of the pioneers of CRM software in the UK during the 90s. Andy has been resident in Spain for the past ten years, during which time he has successfully added language consulting to his professional service portfolio.

Chris Neill

With a degree in European Business Studies, some fifteen years experience in the language services industry in Spain and an excellent command of Spanish, Chris is a key member of the Axlan team. He has been living in Spain since 1994 and taught at Santander's Colegio Universitario "Melchor de Jovellanos" for seven years before becoming a freelance teacher and translator, specialising in business.

David Harper

Born in Bristol, UK, David's career has included several executive roles within UK and US technology companies, plus more recently, language training and consulting in multinational corporations and large language academies. David has extensive experience of working with bluechip clients such as IBM, UPS, Coca Cola and Danone, and has knowledge of a wide variety of business areas including sales, software development, project management and logistics.
